When will Napoleon be released on Apple TV+?

Napoleon is out now in cinemas, but like Killers of the Flower Moon, we already know where it will be streaming.

As with Martin Scorsese’s latest masterpiece, Ridley Scott’s biopic about Napoleon Bonaparte is an Apple Studios production. It’s received an exclusive theatrical release through Sony, but will eventually come to Apple TV+.

Apple has yet to confirm the streaming release date, but we have an idea of when we can expect to be able to watch Napoleon at home.

When will Napoleon be released on Apple TV+?

As mentioned above, Napoleon is out now in cinemas and has yet to confirm its streaming release date on Apple TV+.

However, when it came to Killers of the Flower Moon, it was confirmed that the movie would receive an exclusive theatrical run of at least 45 days. This is in line with most other major blockbusters.

We can expect that Napoleon would receive the same exclusive run, although Apple has yet to confirm the length of its cinema release.

If it is 45 days, that would mean the earliest we could expect to see Napoleon on Apple TV+ is early January, any time from Saturday, January 6 onwards. This is just speculation from us for the time being.

It could be that Apple will want to keep the movie exclusively in cinemas for longer if it’s doing well at the box office or to boost its awards prospects.

We’re still waiting for Killers of the Flower Moon to confirm its Apple TV+ release, but once that happens, we might have a clearer indication of when Napoleon will arrive on the streaming service.

If you’re not an Apple TV+ subscriber, you can sign up for £8.99 a month with a seven-day free trial. There are also ways to get an extended three-week free trial when you purchase select Apple devices.

Napoleon is out now in cinemas and will be released on Apple TV+ at a later date.
